The Mirror Reflects Only Me

By Kira A. Moore

Sultry midnight breezes,

Pass through open windows,

Cooling sweat soaked skin.

I dreamed of you again,

Your radiance filling my eyes,

Your presence touching my heart.

Where are you now,

When I need you so?

The mirror reflects only me.

  1. You’ve written a beautiful poem. The image you’ve used is a beautiful reflection of your feelings. It is my image however. I would appreciate a link back to my blog as recognition of the work. Thank you.

    • Cat,

I apologize, I find all of my images through Google images and often cannot find who created the work. This is especially true when the site I found it on is in a language I cannot read, such as Russian, which is often the case.
I am not seeking to make excuses, if possible I either site the artist or as you have asked, do a link back. I cannot do so right this moment, as I am not at my computer, but will do so later today.
Thank you for informing me of this situation and if there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

      Sincerely,
      Kira
