A smile, so full of sadness, touched rose tinted lips and I knew she was already gone.

  1. That’s a beautiful line, Kira. Well-written and it reminds me of one of my favourite passages from The Great Gatsby:

    “He knew that once he kissed this girl, his mind would never again romp like the mind of God. And so he paused, waiting for a moment longer to hear the tuning fork that had been struck upon a star. Their lips met, she blossomed for him like a flower, and the incarnation was complete.”
