Deal for transgender student now in question amid ‘bad faith’ claims – Chicago Tribune:

“Just one day after a suburban school board approved a historic agreement to settle a transgender student’s claims of discrimination, the district is now threatening to retract the settlement with the federal government amid accusations that the agency acted in ‘bad faith.'”

  1. This is both sad and fascinating. Being in California, I forget what the struggle looks like in other states, even tho CA doesn’t always get it right. My cis 15yo daughter uses the locker room at school every day — there are no showers. Any student who chooses can change in a stall in the bathroom. (My very private dd does this.) There are a couple of affirmed girls at the school. It’s no big deal. Why is it such a big deal? Why are we adults making it such a big deal, maybe that’s the question.

    1. Some people love the sound of their own voice, some want everyone to be as hateful as they are, some are looking to score politcal points and some want to share the bliss of thier ignorance.
