  1. Those Comics are some very open and heartfelt items we all deal with every day as a transperson. Yes, many of the things that are mentioned in the short collection comics listed are very tiring and some very old. Like justifying existance and what may or not be our genitals and talking about so many different aspects of ourselves. Some days when I get home I am so worn out from that, that i end up passing out for bed early.

  2. Those comics communicate in ways that written pieces don’t always get at. Really quite brilliant. I especially liked the one where she’s at a party and the other woman keeps addressing her as her trans-friend (paraphrase). It reminds me of the classic defense mechanism against homophobia/racism/etc. “I even have a friend who is black” “or gay”. So transparent. We don’t need to label our friends or justify or communications when we’re authentically in a heart place. Anyway, my two cents for the day and thanks for all the great posts here and on facebook. A lot of food for thought and some incredibly warm fuzzies. Happy 4th weekend. 🙂
