Landmark ruling finds that transgender discrimination violates federal anti-bias law | Crain’s Cleveland Business:

In what appears to be the first time a federal appeals court has extended the nation’s main federal employment discrimination statute to cover transgender and transitioning employees, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled that employers cannot discriminate against such employees without violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
