The article is fair enough to discuss the precautions – same as any Primary or Endocrinologist nowadays.

The Trans patient would do well to work with their physician, have regular blood tests to follow your chemistry, eat a decent diet, exercise in moderation – same as any patient.

I’ve been on hormones since 1979. My Endo does blood draws every six months, I live a reasonable life to maintain my reasonable health status, my blood results remain within limits. Yes, I am fortunate that I have no other serious or disabling situation.
