Documentary about transgender teen Leelah Alcorn to premiere Aug. 24:

A documentary about Leelah Alcorn, the teenager whose death by suicide in December 2014 triggered awareness of the struggles of transgender people, is scheduled to debut in August at the Woodward Theater in Over-the-Rhine.

Filmmaker Elizabeth Littlejohn of Toronto, Ontario, said she wanted to make the 24-minute documentary “Leelah’s Highway” because “as a human rights activist who believes the right for gender self-determination, I believe this story needed to be told.”

  1. Dear Kira, this is Andy from 3D I made a terrible mistake this morning and I was wondering if you can help me with that please? Please? My email should be attached to this comment notification.

That was me that sent a comment identical to the one I just left, this morning, 8 hours earlier . I was logged in under the other’s blog from the night before when I made the comment on yours, not knowing I was still logged in under the wrong blog and not mine. Can you do me a favor and keep only my comment? I was the one that sent it and please delete this comment in your setting or Moderation as well as the first comment that posted this morning.

I know this is highly unusual. I am guessing the first blog is NOT a blog you follow in contrast to the actual Comment. It is my mistake but only you can correct it at this point. If you have any questions please email me. I appreciate you and you following my blog. You were the first Like on my blog post I just wrote last night. And that comment this morning was in appreciation of that. Thank you Kira for your understanding. ~Andy
